I know I've been posting a lot of questions recently about DXL, but this is only because I am just starting to learn all the nuances of DXL, so please bear with me. I have a piece of code that is taking rich text from DOORS and making it HTML. In this code, I see a line that says "safeHTMLBuffer(richTextBuff, true, true)". I know that the richTextBuff is simply the text with its rich text attributes, but what is the safeHTMLBuffer function actually doing. I have looked both in the Reference Manual and online, but I can't find anything that describes what this function is doing. I'm assuming that it's doing something to the richTextBuff buffer, but what that something is, I don't know. Can somebody please help me so I can understand the code?

Re: Undocumented function safeHTMLBuffer Probably you shouldn't even try to understand undocumented code -- undocumented means that there is no guarantee that what the code does in one release is the same function that the code will do in a different release. |
